Atticus Hickok joined the Strom Commercial Team in 2015. Atticus was born and raised in the suburbs of New York City but made the move to San Diego during his high school years.
In high school and college, Atticus spent lots of time working in restaurants. During his time getting to know the ins and outs of working at various restaurants he found that building relationships with customers and coworkers came very naturally to him. His ease with building relationships along with his interest in architecture and the inner workings of commercial real estate led him to seek a summer internship with Strom Commercial Real Estate. Atticus spent two summers with Strom Commercial doing his best to learn everything he could about the business. It was these two amazing experiences that led him to seek out a job with Strom Commercial shortly after receiving his undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of Colorado.
Since joining the team Atticus has focused mainly on tenant representation taking every opportunity to learn from real work experience. Atticus has been involved with the Developing Leaders mentorship program in NAIOP to work on expanding his network in the real estate world. He has learned a lot from supporting the senior brokers on their deals. Atticus is especially interested in understanding customers’ needs and finding them the exact right spot to grow and be successful.
Outside of his life in real estate, Atticus enjoys water sports such as wake surfing and water skiing, he loves to ski when he gets the chance and he also likes to spend time with his family and their adorable Labs. He enjoys exploring San Diego and checking out everything this amazing city has to offer.
